Why, we're Scouts and Scouter's looking for that little extra…that spark that keeps you wanting more.

More what?

More out of life than just TV and fast food! We go camping each month. We try to have regular service projects benefiting the local community. We try to find interesting things to do. We work together as a team in friendly competition with our fellow Scouts.

Interested in becoming part of our Troop?

We are presently meeting in a temporary Scout Hut located on Hurlburt Field. Our old Scout Hut we enjoyed for over 30 years had to be demolished for new construction. We are hoping to eventually return to the “open” side of the base, and build our own Scout Hut.

Although we meet on Hurlburt Field, remember you do not have to be a military dependent to join our troop! Email scoutmaster@troop509.org and we’ll get you a pass to come visit us on Base.

We meet on Mondays (Holidays excluded) at 7pm
